Data structures and algorithms most likely constitute the largest field in computer science. As such, there are many places you can go to look for information. A few of those places are listed in Appendix E. But there are some web-based information sources that have proven priceless through the years. At the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), you can access an online data structures and algorithms database that provides information concerning not only the structures mentioned in this chapter but thousands more.
