Wrapping Up

You should now have a pretty good grasp on how to use HTML frames. They're not all that difficult, once you get the basic ideas behind how they work. Consider carefully, however, before you implement a framed layout for a Web site. If one of your primary objectives is to attract as much traffic as you can to a site (and get as high a search engine ranking as you can), you may want to skip using frames. If attracting traffic is not as high a priority as creating an aesthetically pleasing or dramatic site, many of the problems associated with using frames can be largely (but not entirely) overcome by implementing the additional features that were covered in this session.

If the Sunday Morning session has stretched until lunchtime, feel free to break for 20 to 30 minutes for lunch.
