File_Passwd_Common::userExists() -- Check if user exists

Synopsis

bool File_Passwd_Common::userExists (string $user)

Description

Check if a certain user already exists.

Parameter

string $user

the name of the user to check if already exists

Return value

Returns boolean whether user already exists.

Note

This function can not be called statically.
