mysqli_character_set_name
Returns the default character set for the database connection

string mysqli_character_set_name ( mysqli link )

string character_set_name();
}Returns the current character set for the database connection.
Parameters
- link
Procedural style only: A link identifier returned by mysqli_connect() or mysqli_init()
